Hobonichi Techo 2015 | My New Year Resolutions
For years, I decided not to have any New Year Resolutions because I couldn’t seem to keep up with the list and make things work. But for once (THIS YEAR), I want to give it a shot and make it happen no matter what. Furthermore, I chose to declare my resolutions publicly to have that extra push and commitment.
With this short list of 5 New Year Resolutions, I shall embark on a fresh journey with plenty of planning, journaling, doodling, drawing, and painting in my Hobonichi Techo, a few ring planners and my travelerâ€™s notebooks!
New Year Resolutions #1 â€“ Stay Focus
Needing tons of self-control, not wanting to wander off into the wonders of internet that will leave me little time to get the serious stuff done. This is one of the reasons why I decided to cut down on my FB-ing and blog visits for last year. But hey, not all who wander are lost. ðŸ˜‰
New Year Resolutions #2 â€“ Have Lots of Patience
This is obviously easier said than done. Though I am a lot better than the past years, there are plenty of rooms for improvement. So, Ommmmmâ€¦ No matter how my kiddos gonna push my limits, CHILL Rach, CHILL. Iâ€™m a cool mama. Yes I am. Ommmâ€¦
New Year Resolutions #3 â€“ Sleep EARLY
Right, this should be very easy for my hubby but not for me. I am trying my very best not to go to my work desk when night falls, even though it is crying out loud for me. LOL. This year, with a whole new routine, I need to be up at 5.20am latest. So, it is wise to have at least 6 hours of restful sleep in order to have an alert mind and energized body to function well for the whole day. This sure is a tough one for a night owl. Hoot.
New Year Resolutions #4 â€“ Make Some Muscles
I have skinny limbs, but a tummy I want to trim, plus to strengthen my bones and build more muscles in order to have a healthier body. I need to move my butt, stretch those stiff bones and exercise, yet this might just be the one for me to flunk my New Year Resolutions! In my memory bank, the last time I did exercise (as in sweat it all out and had my heart pumping mad) was in my Secondary school days. Very obvious, I DISLIKE exercising. Oh boy :p
New Year Resolutions #5 â€“ Go Social
Being super inactive on Facebook for the whole of last year, I want to get back on and reconnect with my friends again. Of course, I have given myself a specific amount of time to mingle online in order to work effectively and complete my tasks on time. Ahem.. pardon me for being a nerd on those pinning on Pinterest, I need to put more heart in this cool social media platform.
There, my New Year Resolutions written down and announced. I need more than just luck to make this work!
