Hello, how are you? When I was in Australia during our recent family trip there, we were often greeted by this warm and up-beat tone. LOVE this Land Down Under, the people, the blue blue sea, the blue blue sky, the beaches, the food.. ah everything (except for the flies hehe)! And I was so so happy to have prepared and brought along my traveler’s notebook with me during this trip! The hubs was glad too and he requested me to do the same for our last Japan trip back in November 2013.. *cold sweat* LOL. Well.. we shall see!
It was slightly more than a week ago when I received a text from a friend asking if I would be interested in working on a scrapbook album that is one of the items in the Singapore SG50 Jubilee Baby Gift. Without hesitation, I said yes, even through my time was tight but I just had to agree to help out and be involved in our Nation’s big milestone – Singapore is turning 50 in 2015. Woohoo! And this is part of the many celebration and initiative projects – parents of Singapore Jubilee babies born in 2015 will receive the Jubilee Baby Gift.
I love my country and am very grateful to be born and grew up well on this little island. Now that our boys get to live in an economically stable and considered as one of the safest country in the world, we always remind them to be thankful and to contribute to the society whenever possible. I am proud to be a Singaporean!
Hello hello! Today I’m going to share with you a handmade gift which was created for the coming Teachers’ Day (which usually falls on the first Friday of every September). Of course, this project idea is suitable for all occasion and serve as a great gift by simply changing the words on the front cover. 😉
This has been on my To-Do list for the longest time and I finally bite the bullet to make my very first video tutorial! 3 cheers for me! LOL.
First of all, I need to warn you that I sounded funny in the video and that I couldn’t seem to be able to find my tongue at some points during the recording. I had a few hiccups here and there and please pardon me for the many “ok… erm… eh…” I used the whole afternoon to doing the recording, searching high and low for extra SD card (you’ll know why after you watched the video) and running here and there to charge up batteries etc. Gee, I was like a headless chicken. LOL. Still, despite the duh and the oops, I enjoyed the whole process. Like I said, this is my first video tutorial and I guessed I’m still able to pull it off and hope that the video will be helpful to you.
In general, how many notebooks do one owns and uses them at the same time? For me, I’ve six (and still counting)! Each for its own purpose and they all varies in sizes and looks. And out of the six, four of them were handmade by me.
After I shared this project on Facebook and Instagram, a couple of you did ask where I got it from and what brand it is. And here are the answers – this DIY altered desk organizer is by Kaiser Craft and you can find this at your local craft stores.
